This 19th Century Wheelwrights shop started selling Beer when the railways arrived in the early 1850's.

A friendly local attracting both visitors & residents, it retains it's stone floors, beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork & real fire. There are garden benches to both the front & rear of the pub with a covered patio and smoking area.

A regular in the CAMRA good beer guide and holder of the cask marque, there are always plenty of superb real ales to choose from,
