The Wheelwright's Arms at St. Nicholas Hurst

Daryl, Katie & the team welcome you to the Wheelwright's Arms!

This 19th Century Wheelwright's shop started selling beer when the railways arrived in the early 1850's.          A friendly local attracting both visitors & residents, it retains its stone floors, beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork & real fire. There is seating at both front and back of the pub with a heated smoking area near the main entrance. We have a large en-closed beer garden at the rear of the pub which is a new addition as part of the refurbishment last year.

The friendliest dog pub in Berkshire! Why not pop over to Dinton Pastures for a lovely walk around Black or White Swan Lake & return to the Wheelwright's Arms for a well deserved beverage and bite to eat!

On the taps in June & July, try a pint!

Dirty Rucker Kiwi is a zesty, golden hoppy beer with a clean refreshing start, developing into a strong powerful bitterness.
